The paper recommended by the Institute, "Industrial Pure Cold Rolled Sheet Development", participated in the "Engineering Paper Award" of the Chinese Society of Engineers this year, and won the first prize of the award "Zhan Tianyou Paper Award", and in "The Chinese Society of Engineers and various special projects" The Institute’s 107th Annual Meeting and the Celebration of Engineers’ Conference were presented to four authors. The "Institute of Chinese Engineers and the Specialized Engineering Society's 107th Annual Meeting and the Celebration of Engineers' Day" was held on June 1st in the auditorium on the 3rd floor of the Deputy Building of Taipower Building in Taipei. More than 300 members attended the event. The theme of this year is "Expanding Diversified Green Energy to Meet the Low Carbon Future." At the meeting, the Secretary-General of the Executive Yuan, Zhuo Rongtai, attended the annual meeting on behalf of Dean Lai Qingde. Li Shiguang, Chairman of the Industrial Technology Research Institute, was also given a special speech entitled "Technology Innovation Integrates into Green Energy Development Vision".

In his opening speech, the Chairman of the Chinese Society of Engineers, Qiu Linbin, mentioned in particular that President Cai specially met with various winners this year and photographed them individually with the winners. Li Shiguang, the chairman of the board, delivered a special speech entitled "Technology Innovation and Integration into Green Energy Development Vision", pointing out that the IEA's 2017 assessment results in the green energy part of the solar photovoltaic and land wind, electric vehicles, energy storage technology advances. In the next five years, Green Energy will focus on improving mass production, manufacturing and operating costs, improving efficiency and system integration. It is estimated that 2025 will be the market growth point, and the penetration rate will reach 80% after 2040. The integration and development of green energy technology can develop a sustainable urban energy system and build a smart city. Li Shiguang pointed out in the conclusion that technological innovation can help accelerate the achievement of the vision to develop a vision.
