China Mining and Metallurgical Engineering Society "Membership Representative Assembly Representative Election Method"

These Measures were adopted at the Joint Meeting of the 57th and 9th Board of Supervisors of the Association at 2015.12.31.

In January, 105, the Japanese Association (105) Mining and Metallurgy Letter No. 009 was reported to the Ministry of the Interior for future reference.

  1. 1. These Measures are formulated in accordance with Article 10 of the Constitution of the Institute.
  1. 2. The representative of the member representative assembly (hereinafter referred to as the representative of the member) shall be elected in the manner of the designated time of the district. The time and place shall be notified by the member of the board of supervisors after the decision of the board of supervisors. The division method is as follows:
  1. 1. North District (including Yilan County, Keelung City, New Taipei City, Taipei City, Hsinchu County, City, Taoyuan City, Lianjiang County)
  1. 2. Central District (including Miaoli County, Taichung City, Changhua County, Yunlin County, Jinmen County)
  1. 3. Southern District (Nantou County, Chiayi County, City, Tainan City, Kaohsiung City, Pingtung County, Taitung County, Hualien County, Wuhu County)
  1. 3. The candidate for the member representative shall be determined by the third item of Article 19 of the Articles of Association of the Society.
  1. 4. The election of member representatives shall be the benchmark date for the members with voting rights on May 21 of each year.
  1. 5. The proportion of the number of member representatives is rounded to the nearest whole number. However, when the total number of members exceeds the total number of members, the number of members with the largest value of five will be increased by one person to the total number of 61 persons.
  1. 6. When members cannot attend the election in person, they can entrust other members with voting rights to write in writing, and each member is limited to one agent.
  1. 7. The term of the member's representative shall be two years, and shall be re-elected within one month before the expiration of the term of office, and may be re-elected.
  1. 8. If a member representative loses his membership, he or she will lose his or her membership.
  1. 9. If the number of members elected by the district is less than half of the number of places to be selected in the district, they shall be elected by the by-election. The members elected by the by-election shall be limited to the term of the original member.
  1. 10. The date of the election of the member representatives of each district shall be notified to the members by the fifteenth day of the election day, and shall be convened or presided by the designated personnel of the Council of the Society. The electors who handle the election of the member representatives shall be designated by the Society.
  1. 11. The election votes of the member representatives shall be effective after being printed and stamped by the Society and sealed by the Standing Supervisor of the Board of Supervisors.
  1. 12. The election results of the member representatives of each district and the roster of elected members' representatives shall be submitted to the Institute for review and approval within 7 days after the election is completed, and then submitted to the competent authority for reference.

XIII. Matters not specified in these Measures shall be handled in accordance with the regulations of the Institute and relevant laws and regulations.

  1. 14. These Measures shall be adopted by the Council of the Society and sent to the competent authority for future reference. The same applies to the amendments.
