The "Straits Symposium on Oil and Gas Resources across the Taiwan Straits" was handled by the Association and the Fujian Mining Association on both sides of the strait. It has been held five times since the first session in 2010 to 2014. The fifth session was held at the Yuehua Hotel in Fuzhou, Fujian Province.

Located next to Xihu Park, Fuzhou Yuehua Hotel is located in the garden lake and mountains. The hotel consists of the main building, Libo Building, Jade Building and Kangle Building. It has 173 deluxe rooms, buffet restaurant, Chinese restaurant and large-scale multi-functional banquet. The hall, such as small and medium-sized banquet and conference venues and tennis halls, swimming pools, health centers and other comprehensive facilities, is the best place for an international conference.

The conference will be reported on the hotel building lobby on November 25, 2014. The opening ceremony will be held on November 26th from 8:30 to 9:30 in the hotel's Huating Hall A; the keynote speech will be held from 9:50 to 12:00; In the afternoon, the group exchange seminar was divided into two groups: the first group was held in the hotel's Jade Building, Mengsong Hall, the second group was handled in the jade belt hall of the Jade Building; the wild geological survey was arranged from November 27 to 28, at the Daning Danxia. The 5th Symposium, led by Chairman Wu Rongzhang, led a delegation of 21 people. On November 25, the Xiamen Airlines MF 880 flight took off at Taoyuan International Airport at 11:25 am and arrived at Fuzhou Evergreen Airport at 12:50, Fujian. 2.The Opening Ceremony

The opening ceremony was held in Hall A of the Huating, hosted by Shao Xu, Director of the Fujian Provincial Bureau of Geology and Minerals. The meeting began with a welcome speech by Director Shao and introduced the distinguished guests from all walks of life and explained the agenda for today's meeting. The morning meeting was divided into two parts. The first part of the opening ceremony was mainly delivered by the Chairman of the Fujian Mining Association Song Xiangwen. The Chairman of the China Mining and Metallurgical Engineering Society Wu Rongzhang delivered a speech. Speech by President Song Xiangwen (President of Fujian Mining Association): Under the planning support of the relevant departments on both sides of the Taiwan Straits, the 2014 Cross-Strait Oil and Gas Symposium was opened in Fuzhou today. I am representing Fujian Mining. The Association warmly welcomes the leading experts and all the opening personnel who participated in the seminar! This seminar is the fifth exchange meeting of the academic discussions on oil and gas resources across the Taiwan Straits. The first four seminars have been very successful and reached a broad consensus. Concerns from the industry, the oil and gas industry and all walks of life, I would like to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude to people from all walks of life who have always cared for and supported cross-strait oil and gas seminars! In particular, I would like to express my sincere respect and gratitude to Mr. Zhu Qiulong, the former chairman of the China Mining and Metallurgical Engineering Society of Taiwan!

The seminar was jointly sponsored by the China Mining and Metallurgical Engineering Society of Taiwan and the Fujian Mining Association. It was hosted by the Taiwan Strait Institute of Geology of Fujian Province. More than 100 experts, scholars and related personnel from both sides of the strait were involved in the exchange of oil and gas deposits on both sides of the strait. The status quo and recent research results, explore new exploration techniques and methods, and establish a new direction for the next oil and gas seminar. This year's seminar has received more than 60 papers. More than 40 experts and scholars will exchange ideas at the conference. After the meeting, we also arranged some representatives to go to Northwest Yunnan for field trips. I believe that through our joint efforts, this book The seminar will surely achieve more fruitful results, further expand the exchange space between the two sides of the oil and gas exploration and development field, and promote the development of oil and gas resources across the Taiwan Strait. In addition, Fujian and Taiwan, with clothes and water, Fujian is undergoing construction in the 12th Five-Year Plan. Construction in the 12th Five-Year Plan is an important part of ecological construction. During the 4th seminar held in Taiwan last year, we visited the Asian cement plant and left a deep impression. We hope that colleagues from both sides of the strait will have more extensive and in-depth cooperation and exchanges in this field. Chairman Wu Rongzhang's speech (Chairman of China Mining and Metallurgical Engineering Society): I will cooperate with the Fujian Mining Association to jointly organize the "Straits Cross-Strait Oil and Gas Resources Symposium" in Fujian and Taiwan in 2010. So far, we have entered the fifth year. Over the past four years, the two associations have established good academic exchanges and cooperation, which has promoted the strong friendship and feelings between the two conferences. It is worth celebrating!

The China Mining Engineering Society was established on February 9, 1927 at the No. 9 Terracotta Hutong, Xicheng, Beijing. The former Ministry of Agriculture and Commerce Geological Survey Library was established. The Society now saves a frame of the commemorative commemoration of the sages in front of the building. They are dressed in robes and horses, for the development of large Chinese minerals, showing strong perseverance and confidence; looking up to the yellow photos, cherishing the great grandeur and sentiment of the advanced sages, so that future generations can not help but awe!

I will resume the meeting in Taiwan in October 1951, purchase clubs, actively develop conferences, expand academic activities, and currently have more than 2,000 members. It is one of the most long-established corporate legal entities in Taiwan's specialized engineering societies. More than 50 activities have been affirmed and praised by people from all walks of life in the field of economics and research, and numerous awards have been won.

Both Fujian and Taiwan have vast economic seas. They hope that through the academic research results of the two sides, we will promote cross-strait cooperation in exploring energy resources to enrich the people's livelihood and enhance the well-being of people on both sides of the strait!

Speech by Director Peng Qiming (Division of the Ministry of Land and Resources): Today, the Symposium on Oil and Gas Resources across the Taiwan Straits was held in Fuzhou. This is an academic event for exchanges and cooperation between the two sides of the Taiwan Straits in the geological field. I was entrusted by Minister Jiang Daming of the Ministry of Land and Resources. The meeting was warmly echoed. This is my second time. The last time I was in Xiamen in 2012, I was deeply impressed by the meeting. Before this meeting, I also listened to the colleagues in Fujian to introduce the preparations for the seminar and also read the relevant information. I feel that this preparation is very full and the content is very rich, and I will be able to achieve fruitful results. Below I would like to talk about three points:

1. 1. The Symposium on Oil and Gas Resources across the Taiwan Strait has become an important platform for promoting cross-strait exchanges and cooperation. The oil and gas symposium on both sides of the strait was initiated in the context of accelerating the construction of the economic zone on the west side of the Straits and promoting the joint exploration and cooperation of oil and gas in the Taiwan Strait. It has reached the fifth session and has become a normal academic exchange platform. This healthy development trend, scholars and experts from the two sides of the strait, and relevant departments have reached a high level of consensus on academic and economic exchanges and cooperation. With a good foundation, apart from this foundation, we have historical roots, just mentioned by the chairman. Our China Mining and Metallurgical Engineering Society was established in Beijing in the past, that is, the site of the Central Geodetic Institute in the past. The Central Geological Survey is an important academic research unit in China. From here, we can see that we have a common root. It was the older generation of geologists who did a lot of dedication to the country for economic construction, and they are now our idols, so we respect it.

It is also studying the spirit of dedication of this group of scholars; the preparations and convening of the seminars over the past few years have been actively supported by the relevant departments of the two sides of the strait. The China Mining and Metallurgical Engineering Society and the Fujian Mining Association have jointly worked together to develop cross-strait related contractors. Thanks to the active participation of experts and scholars on both sides of the strait, I am especially grateful to all the experts and scholars for your great achievements in the fields. It is hoped that in the future, the role of the cross-strait oil and gas academic seminar will be better played, and it will become a bridge for cross-strait exchanges and cooperation, especially in the geological field, and make greater contributions to the economic and social development of the two sides.
